A RECORD OF FINISHED WORK, MATERIALS IN PROCESS, AND PIECES DEVELOPED THROUGH USE.

Hand-made scarlet red and mahogany leather chest armor, vambraces, and greaves displayed outdoors. The embossed artwork is gilded with 18K gold, applied by hand for durability and long-term wear.

A client wearing his fully custom, hand-made leather armor at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival—built for movement, comfort, and extended wear.

Hand-made black leather chest armor laid out prior to final assembly. The embossed artwork is gilded with pewter; the finished piece was later riveted and saddle-stitched with bright red waxed thread.

Rear view of the hand-made scarlet red and mahogany leather armor, showing construction details and fit. Embossed artwork is hand-gilded with 18K gold.

A firefighter wearing a custom, hand-made leather radio strap. While not armor, this work reflects the same standards of durability, function, and respect for those who rely on their equipment every day. I'm always happy to serve our first responders and law enforcement.

Work In Progess

This workshop is active. Materials are being tested, patterns refined, and construction methods evaluated through use—not theory.

Pieces you see here may be incomplete, unassembled, or in intermediate stages of finishing. That is intentional. This work is built through iteration: cut, worn, adjusted, and rebuilt until it meets the standard set for long-term use.

Nothing is rushed to completion for the sake of presentation. Fit, durability, and structural integrity are proven over time, not assumed. What appears unfinished is often in the most important phase—where decisions are tested under real conditions.

This process takes time, and it is deliberate. The work continues until it is ready to be worn, relied upon, and used as intended.
